Adjust screen size of 260SP: How?

Post by WERSI-Tifoso » Thu Feb 17, 2011 5:42 am

As I learnt from the "WERSI-Family" and gave it a try, there is no problem to run Miditzer within the organs system: it can be loaded from an USB-Stick. The Creamware Soundcard ( SWEffectsMixer included) as well as the manuals are recognizied without any extra confugration.

The only unresolved issue left is the adjustment of the 260SP screensize: only two thirds are displayed - estimated. How can this be done?

The OS under which the WERSI-InstrumentsSW runs is Windows XP SP1, the resolution of the 8" touchscreen is AFAIK 640x480 Pics.

BTW: the sound is tremendous.

Thank in advance for any advice!

640x480 is far too low a resolution for the 260 or any Miditzer Style for that matter. If I recall correctly, the minimum size for the Miditzer is 1024x768.

I assume that you don't really need to do anything with the Miditzer screen on the Wersi and the issue is just aesthetic.

You can adjust the screen size using a command line parameter "-res" followed by the horizontal resolution and optionally the vertical resolution, e.g. "miditzer260sp -res 640 480". When I tried it it didn't work for the 260 but it did for the 216. I don't know if that is because I am on a machine where the 260 is not registered or if the command line parameters don't work on the 260 for some other reason.

Thanks, Jim,

but my knowledge of Windows is limited, although with a little help I think I could get it working: where do I insert the command line parameters?

One possibility is to right click the menu item or icon that you use to launch the Miditzer and add the "-res" paramenters there:

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I just tried setting the res on a registered version of the 260SP and it still didn't work. :?
