Gutted that it can't go on a mac

Post by Apstudios » Tue Jul 15, 2014 10:31 am

Hi.
A friend of mine had introduced me to the Miditizer and I love it.
He has a windows pc but I invested in a Mac pc.
Gutted.
I don't suppose there's a version for the mac?
Many thanks

There is no Mac version. However, there are people running the Miditzer on a Mac using software that allows PC programs to be run on a Mac. I think information on how to do this has been posted somewhere in the Forum.

Thought that might be the case.
The only thing I can find is the software code weavers crossover to run it.
Any further advice on this would be great because I'm not a lover of windows.
Many thanks

Ben Model (author 'silentfilmmusic' on this forum) has a long thread on running Miditzer on a Mac. It starts here:

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1892

and runs for several pages. You might want to read through what he went through to get things working. But he did succeed and I believe is still performing in public with a keyboard, a Mac, and the Miditzer.
