Hi Dale,

There were some discussions a while back that may answer your ??

Miditzer Forum: Toggle stops via MIDI

and Miditzer Forum: Creating reversibles

I used a solo piston to create a trem reversible. Works well.

The TRM cancel piston cannot be changed. You have to use one of the settable pistons to make a reversible for the trems.

For what it's worth, if you cancel the trems with TRM and make no other change, RES will restore the trems.More generally, does anyone find RES useful?

More generally, I've never used it, maybe because I never think about it. Such a waste?

I use RES.  It allows you to make one "special" setting (something like a percussion or traps add, or a different solo combination) then use some piston settings, then go back to your "special" setting.

It can be used as you mention Jim, to cancel then return trems.

(I have sometimes questioned if RES is actually working correctly.  I suspect something may happen if you pres it twice without using a piston in between, but I have not nailed it down clearly enough to try to explain it)
