A great way to create new registrations is to download recorded 216 or 260 <mid files> and use the on-screen
"player" feature hear them performed as recorded by other players on your MidiTzer, watching the stoptabs on the screen move in concert with the sounds.

Just install the downloads into your folder then Hit LOAD on the recorder buttons and cancel your present screen. then hit the OPLAY toggle to hear it play and see the stoptabs make their selections.

You can hit "play" at any time to toggle-halt the song - it will freeze the screen, and that's a great way to keep the registration - either document it or save it for your own. It is a good way to investigate what constitutes the registrations that appeal to you.

I was a bit disappointed on the lack of solo tabs available on the 260.

UNTIL I was playing the downloaded FORMBY MEDLEY and watching the screen as it played. I heard all kinds of sounds not available on the solo stoptabs. Then I saw them - in the center of the touchscreen - they were selections added from the black SOLO COUPLERS from certain other manual divisions.

This opened a whole new way to create new registrations.

just because I, organ plebe that I am, was watching the stoptabs as the different sounds played the songs, seeking to learn these registrations that appealed to me.
