The 1925 3/11 WurliTzer (Opus 1143) theater organ which is part of the Empire
State Musical Instrument Museum (ESTMIM) and installed in the New Times Theater
located in the McNeil & Company Art & Home Center on the New York State
Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY. will be featured during the 12 days of the 2008 NY
State Fair which opens on Thursday, August 21st & concludes on Labor Day, Sept.
1st. Several organists from around the state, including list member Harvyn
Tarkmeel (pipevoicesk@aol.com), will perform on the 3/11 WurliTzer on many of
the fair days.

On Friday, August 29th "The Boys from Buffalo", specialists in theater organ
and silent movie shorts, will be featured all day from 11 AM to 6 PM. The
Buffalo troupe includes teacher Bruce Woody and 9 of his students.

The entire New Times Theater performance schedule during the fair may be viewed

Anyone & everyone finding themselves in the central NY area during the fair
days is encouraged to visit & experience hearing this all original 3/11
WurliTzer, the only theater organ installed at a state fairgrounds in the U.S.

ESTMIM will be hosting John Ledwon on Oct 26 at a 7:30 pm concert at New Times Theater at the NY state fair grounds.
